Car rental policy
Rental Duration
The rental price will be calculated based on a combination of daily and hourly rates
1 day rental is considered 24 hours, starting from the time you pick up the bike today until the same time the next day. Hourly rental is only applicable when you rent a bike for more than 1 day. The hourly rate depends on the type of bike you rent:
| Manual Bike | 15k/hour extra |
| Scooter | 20k/hour extra |
Note: If your extra hours exceed 8 hours, Thanh Hai Motorbike Rental will round it up to a full day rental.
Example: You rent a Sirius manual bike,
- Pick-up: 9 AM, March 21, 2022
- Return: 3 PM, March 22, 2022
Our system will calculate as follows: The total rental time will be 1 day and 6 hours. You will be charged for 1 full day at 130k and for the remaining 6 extra hours at 90k. The total rental amount will be 220k.
On the first day, even if you rent for just a few hours, you will still be charged for a full day.
Example: Your pick-up time is 9 AM, March 21, 2022, and your return time is 3 PM on the same day. Our SYSTEM will calculate this as a 1-day rental. If you exceed 30 minutes, it will round up to 1 extra hour.

The steps for the rental process are as follows:

This amount will be refunded after the rental is completed).
3 – Agree to the terms and sign the rental agreement between both parties.
4 – Receive the bike.
Note: For group rentals, only one person is required to complete the rental procedures.
Rental Prices
The price for motorbike rentals varies across provinces and cities due to different terrain conditions affecting bike quality. Each market has its own price list, but the calculation methods and policies remain consistent.
The rental price depends on the type of bike and is publicly listed on our website. We guarantee that the rental price will not increase while you are using our services. For detailed pricing of each bike type, please click on the rental price list.
The rental contract value will be calculated based on the rental duration and the daily/hourly rental price for each type of bike.
Renter’s Responsibilities
The renter is responsible for refueling the bike to operate it.
Check the bike thoroughly before accepting it and refuel it to ensure smooth travel.
Do not remove or damage the warranty seal and ensure repairs or replacements of any parts are handled appropriately.
During the rental period, the renter must protect, maintain, and operate the bike in accordance with Vietnam’s traffic safety laws. Any issues that arise will be handled as follows:
- The renter must notify the rental provider of any damage for both parties to agree on a solution.
- For any dents, cracks, or breaks caused by the renter, the renter must purchase genuine replacement parts (no welding or repairs allowed).
- If a tire puncture occurs, the renter must cover the cost of tire repair or replacement.
- Minor scratches or dents that do not require new parts must be compensated at market value.
- If the bike is out of service due to renter-caused issues, the renter will still be charged for the rental days as if they were using the bike.
- If the renter violates traffic laws and the bike is impounded, the renter is responsible for paying all fines and the rental period will continue to be charged. Any travel or accommodation expenses incurred by the rental provider to resolve the issue will be fully covered by the renter.
- If the renter loses the bike, causes a serious accident, or the bike is destroyed, the renter must compensate for the full value of the bike as appraised at the time of rental.
For long-term rentals, every 30 days the renter must return the bike for periodic maintenance.
The renter must return the bike on time as agreed in the contract. If the renter wishes to extend the rental period, they must notify the rental provider in advance, and the additional rental will be charged based on the service price list.
Rental Provider’s Responsibilities
The rental provider must ensure that the rented bike is safe and roadworthy, as agreed with the customer. Each rental includes 02 standard helmets.
Provide the following documents to the renter: a photocopy of the vehicle registration and civil liability insurance for the bike. Assist, support, and guide the renter in any situation that requires the involvement of the bike owner.
Returns and Contract Termination
If the service provided does not meet the agreed terms, the customer has the right to refuse the service or request a replacement bike that meets their requirements. In this case, the rental provider must refund the full deposit to the customer if they refuse the service.
If the customer terminates the rental contract earlier than agreed, the rental provider will consider the time of return as the end of the contract, and the contract value will be calculated accordingly. Any excess amount will be refunded to the customer.
For customers who have booked a rental, they can cancel their reservation at any time without incurring any additional fees.
